We’re seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join us in driving innovation by solving complex problems in adtech. In this role you’ll use billions of rows of data to design and deliver novel machine learning solutions that drive meaningful impact for our customers.
Success in this role requires the ability to translate business goals and objectives into AI/ML solutions that help us achieve them along with a passion for delivering measurable results and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
What you will do
- Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand company goals and objectives. Translate that understanding into machine learning solutions that address business challenges and opportunities.
- Develop highly scalable machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions that address key growth challenges and provide meaningful insights on problems such as cross-channel optimization, and targeting optimization.
- Build production grade models on large-scale datasets to optimize Ad delivery, relevancy performance by utilizing advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and optimization and marketing science research.
- Design and execute A/B tests to answer business questions
- Provide thought leadership in applying innovative machine learning techniques to solve complex data science problems.
- Stay current with advances in machine learning research and technologies, exploring new approaches and methodologies to enhance model capabilities and effectiveness.
- Document methodologies, processes, and findings, sharing insights and best practices with the broader team to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Participate in project planning/prioritization meetings, partner meetings, etc
What skills and experience you bring
- Advanced degree in statistics, computer science, operational research, engineering or related field. PhD preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in a similar role in adtech.
- Demonstrated expertise with Python.
- Experience with machine learning tools and platforms including: Spark, Databricks,TensorFlow, Pytorch.
- Worked extensively with machine learning techniques and advanced analytics (e.g. Deep Learning, Bandits, Causal Inference, Mathematical Optimization)
- Advanced SQL skills - comfortable working with very large data sets preferably, you have experience with cloud environments such as AWS.
