Leidos is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join a multidisciplinary team of mission-focused analysts and reporters. In this role, you will apply machine learning and advanced analytics to sparse, noisy, and adversarial datasets to support predictive intelligence and deliver operational impact. You will leverage techniques such as deep learning, graph analytics, and anomaly detection to create decision advantage for analysts, operators, and mission leaders—contributing to intelligence capabilities for the next decade of national security.

Key Responsibilities
Develop machine learning models to extract insights from large, complex intelligence datasets.
Translate analytic questions into technical requirements and data-driven solutions.
Characterize and assess datasets in varying states of structure and quality.
Provide informed recommendations on technical approaches based on evolving intelligence capabilities and constraints.
Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and support automated analytics workflow development.
Minimum Qualifications
Active TS/SCI with polygraph required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, AI/ML, Data Science, Operations Research, or related technical field with 10 years of relevant experience.
Associate’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience may be considered.
Other degrees with strong coursework in advanced math, statistics, AI/ML, computer science, or data mining, or relevant certifications (Data Science, AI/ML) will also be considered.
Proficiency in Python and C/C++ (or similar languages).
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries.
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively across teams.
Preferred: Experience supporting intelligence or cyber operations missions.
