In this role, you'll work with operational and sensor data to develop machine learning models, advanced analytics, and AI-powered solutions that generate real-world impact. You'll collaborate with product managers, engineers, domain experts, and customers to uncover opportunities, solve complex problems, and create products that deliver measurable value.

Success in this role comes from combining strong analytical skills with a genuine interest in understanding the systems, processes, and operational environments behind the data.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex operational and sensor data to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Design, develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions.

  • Build algorithms for forecasting, anomaly detection, and predictive decision support.

  • Transform business and customer challenges into scalable, data-driven solutions.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the systems, processes, and operational context behind the data to create impactful analytical solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, domain experts, and customers to define and deliver new capabilities.

  • Leverage modern AI tools and technologies to support data exploration, experimentation, model development, and solution delivery.

  • Monitor and continuously improve the performance of analytics solutions and machine learning models.

  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, AI advancements, and analytical methods that can drive innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience developing machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions.

  • Strong Python skills and experience working with large or complex datasets.

  • Good understanding of statistics, data analysis, and predictive modeling techniques.

  • Ability to translate business and operational challenges into practical data-driven solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a curiosity for discovering meaningful insights from data.

  • Interest in understanding the systems and processes behind the data and applying that knowledge to analytical solutions.

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across teams and disciplines.

Nice to Have

Experience with time-series data, anomaly detection, forecasting, predictive analytics, industrial systems, IoT, or sensor data would be valuable. Familiarity with cloud-based analytics and machine learning platforms, AI-assisted development tools, or cross-functional product development environments is also a plus.
