What You Will Do:
Apply strong technical skills and a mission‑focused mindset to understand client needs, identify opportunities, and design data‑driven solutions. Leverage tools such as Python to develop analytics and data science products. Communicate clearly to translate technical findings for both technical and non‑technical audiences, including leadership. Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, adapt solutions to mission needs, and drive initiatives forward.
What You Will Need:

  • Active SECRET or higher security clearance.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field is required

  • THREE (3) or more years of relevant professional experience is required.

  • Experience in conducting data science using a programming language, Python preferred.

  • Experience with Agile team operations, such as sprint planning, standup calls, writing Jira stories, backlog refinement, etc.

  • Ability to support remote, hybrid, or on-site projects in the Washington D.C. metro area.  

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • FOUR (4) years of relevant professional experience.  

  • Experience working in Databricks.

  • Ability to work independently, proactively identify opportunities to add value to the client, and drive initiatives and innovation.

  • Ability to clearly communicate and present technical solutions, insights, and results to technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.

  • Experience performing data engineering, such as Extract-Transform-Load (ETL), managing databases, etc.

  • Experience working with data cataloging and metadata.

  • Experience working with APIs.

  • Experience visualizing data and building dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

  • Ability to support business development, including RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers.

  • Relevant experience supporting the Department of State or other Federal Government organizations.
