Data Scientist Trainee

Job Description:
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Data Scientist Trainee with a strong interest in computer vision and OCR (Optical Character Recognition). As part of our AI/ML team, you will assist in developing, training, and evaluating models that extract structured data from images and documents. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and gain real-world experience in deep learning and image processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development of computer vision and OCR models using deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)

• Preprocess and annotate image data for training and evaluation

• Assist in fine-tuning and evaluating existing vision models

• Conduct experiments and document findings clearly

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers on model deployment and performance tracking

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or a related field

• Basic understanding of image processing and neural networks (CNNs, transformers)

• Familiarity with Python and relevant libraries (e.g., OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow)

• Enthusiastic about solving real-world problems using AI and vision technologies

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
