As a Data Scientist Senior Associate within the Data Analytics Team, you will leverage data science to optimize product development and operational efficiency. You will collaborate across teams to deliver actionable insights that drive business value and continuous improvement.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborates with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business objectives into data-driven solutions
- Analyzes large, complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
- Develops and implements predictive models and machine learning algorithms to forecast product performance
- Designs and conducts experiments to validate model outcomes and ensure reliability
- Creates and maintains dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and insights
- Mentors data scientists and contributes to a collaborative, innovative team environment
- Stays current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field
- Three years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related role
- Hands-on experience with data analytics and visualization techniques such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and big data technologies like Hadoop, Cassandra, AWS
- Expertise in machine learning techniques, statistical modeling, and data mining
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences, including senior leadership
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Master's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field with work experience preferably in financial services or technology
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Proficiency in Atlassian tools such as Jira and Jira Align
- Ability to manage workflows and enhance team collaboration
