Lucayan Technology LLC is seeking a Level 2 Data Scientist to join our team in Chantilly, VA. This role applies advanced data science techniques to cybersecurity operations and mission-focused analytics, enabling automation, anomaly detection, and data-driven decision-making.
What You’ll Do
- Collect, clean, and analyze cybersecurity and IA data.
- Build machine learning models and statistical solutions.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings.

- Provide recommendations to mission stakeholders and leadership.
Do You Have What It Takes?
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
- Knowledge of machine learning, LLMs, and data visualization.
- Familiarity with tools such as Python, R, AWS, Spark, and Tableau.
- Cybersecurity or IA operations experience.
- Agile workflow experience (Scrum, Jira, Confluence).
