Description

EOA Technologies is seeking a Data Scientist on one of our subcontracts. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. 

As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, develop capabilities to shift from the current manual system security evaluation and authorization process to a new model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and network data gathering across the entire life cycle of a project. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and enhance automated capabilities that replace manual security evaluation and authorization processes.
  • Use Python to process, analyze, and validate security related data, ensuring systems and resources meet security requirements.
  • Detect anomalies and outliers to assess progress through the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle.
  • Identify system associations for resources based on various attributes and known system information.
  • Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines to collect and integrate data from multiple sources (network sensors, security tools, compliance databases).
  • Transform and prepare data for reporting, analysis, and automated assessments.
  • Support data engineering operations including data quality checks, pipeline monitoring, workflow optimization, and timely delivery of security insights.
  • Enable scalable, reliable dataflows that support continuous monitoring and RMF automation.

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must have the following:

  • Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
  • Ten (10) years analyzing datasets and developing analytics
  • Ten (10) years programming in R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering or computer science)

  • Strong background in statistical analysis
  • Experience developing, tuning, and testing predictive models
  • Proficiency in creating analytic dashboards, visualizations, and charts.
