Designs, deploys, configures, upgrades, and supports enterprise storage and backup platforms. Troubleshoots systems, manages capacity and performance, supports data center migrations and replication, integrates storage with hypervisors, and oversees hardware and software installations. Maintains technical documentation, monitoring, security hardening, and high-availability capabilities while participating in technical reviews, technology evaluations, incident response, and on-call support for a U.S. Government customer.

Supports senior ISSOs and the ISSM in implementing and enforcing information systems security policies for systems processing classified information. Design, implement, configure, test, and support WAN/LAN networks and devices. Analyze traffic and performance, optimize dataflow, implement VPNs, firewalls, NAT, and load-balancing. Lead large-scale, scalable, fault-tolerant network solutions, coordinate with systems engineering, and resolve complex network issues using network analyzers, WAN test equipment, and simulators.

Design and document secure cloud workload configurations to meet government security/regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-organizational teams to plan and execute cloud migrations to AWS, evaluate cloud services and security technologies, and produce procedures and guidance ensuring data protection and compliance.

Serve as security engineering representative on teams to design, implement, evaluate, and integrate IA architectures, secure networking, computing, and enclave environments. Apply IA policy and procedures, support security planning, assessment, risk analysis/management, identify data handling requirements, and enforce trusted relationships with external systems while interacting with customers and project teams.

Provide advanced network security engineering for a U.S. Government customer: procure, deploy, configure, and maintain hardware and network devices (firewalls, proxies, VPNs, load balancers); perform site surveys, create technical design packages, lead teams, plan hardware projects, perform security planning, risk analysis, and design trusted inter-system relationships. Support SIGINT-focused complex systems and validate hardware in coordination with systems and test engineering.

Serve as the program's ISSO to implement and enforce information systems security policies, maintain operational security posture, perform day-to-day security operations, evaluate security solutions for classified processing, conduct vulnerability/risk assessments, manage configuration and changes, and prepare SSPs, C&A packages, SRTMs, and RMF-aligned authorization documentation.

Support a U.S. Government customer by managing and maintaining on-premises and AWS server infrastructure. Administer Linux (Amazon Linux 2023, RHEL 8/9) and Windows Server (2016/2022), Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy. Automate and configure systems using Salt, Bash, Python, and Ansible. Position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph, IAT Level 2 certification, and extensive systems engineering experience.

Lead design, development, and implementation of complex database systems and microservices for a U.S. Government program. Direct overall database architecture, build parsers and loading software, create REST endpoints and workflows, provide break/fix and updates, and manage requirements from project inception through completion using cloud methodologies and automation.

Develop, test, deploy, and sustain web-based single-page applications and dashboards using Angular (v14+). Integrate with REST endpoints, parse JSON, design UI mockups, and enhance interfaces with CSS. Provide UI technical leadership and support automation and continuous monitoring efforts for a U.S. Government customer.

Design, develop, implement, and maintain database structures and tooling. Lead database parsing and loading software, create workflows, troubleshoot optimization and scaling, and support Python-based REST endpoints and microservices to expose data models to UIs.

Design, migrate, and operate Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 solutions. Deploy VNets, VPNs, load balancers, Azure AD, App Services, and hybrid Exchange/AD integrations. Lead moderate migrations, automate with PowerShell/Azure CLI/Microsoft Graph, monitor and optimize cloud resources, and ensure security and compliance while collaborating with cybersecurity and network teams.

Serve as principal technical lead for the enterprise EDR program, architecting, integrating, deploying, and optimizing Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Trellix HX across hybrid environments. Author system engineering plans, tune agent policies, translate threat intelligence into KQL/YARA/OpenIOC detections, provide advanced forensics and SOC support during incidents, advise government stakeholders on risks, and mentor junior engineers.

Provide 24/7 watchfloor application support across software development, systems engineering, administration, and operations. Monitor dashboards/logs, triage alerts, troubleshoot application/dataflow issues, perform basic Linux and AWS operational tasks, and escalate incidents. Work rotating 12-hour shifts.

Develop, maintain, and run Pig and PySpark analytics; review data ingest tickets and merge requests; ensure reliable, accurate data delivery and investigate data ingestion issues; support automation and continuous monitoring for system security evaluation lifecycle.

Provide administration and support for Windows Server 2019/2022 and Windows 10/11 clients, manage AD/DNS/Certificate Authorities, administer RHEL/Amazon Linux in AWS, deploy and maintain AWS and on-prem environments, and automate provisioning and configuration using SaltStack, Ansible, Bash and Python.

Lead Azure and Microsoft 365 cloud strategy and full lifecycle transformations. Architect secure, compliant solutions (AKS, Synapse, Logic Apps, Sentinel), drive M365 migrations, implement zero-trust, DLP, and Purview governance, advise leadership, and represent cloud during audits and executive planning.

Develop and execute automated test and evaluation plans for custom software in a classified cybersecurity program. Coordinate T&E tasks, build and maintain scalable test scripts, manage regression testing, document procedures, integrate automation into development, and mitigate program risk through alternative actions and continual risk reassessment.

Manage, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases for a U.S. government customer. Responsibilities include installation/configuration, performance monitoring and tuning, backups and recovery, user access and security management, disaster recovery planning/testing, collaboration with developers and sysadmins, and maintaining up-to-date documentation.

Lead design, deployment, and sustainment of enterprise Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, including hybrid/multi-region architecture, large-scale migrations, IaC (ARM/Bicep/Terraform/PowerShell DSC), governance, cost optimization, identity/security integrations, tier-3 support, and mentoring junior engineers.
