F5, Inc. seeks Data Scientist III in San Jose, CA: 

Job Duties: Work closely with customers to quickly understand their security and network challenges and identify how F5 might be able to help them successfully secure their internet presence. Identify useful data from customers’ web and mobile applications and engineer relevant features for machine learning models. Train and deploy models to predict security and adoption outcomes, based on telemetry and customer-provided data. Maintain models for customer, and update or refresh them as needed. Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams (sales, customer success, product, engineering, etc.) and with customers on the performance of machine learning models, as well as other data science issues. Provide feedback to internal teams on data science, product, engineering issues and suggest process improvements. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to F5 offices may be required. 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Chemistry, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.  

Special Skill Requirements: One (1) year of experience using the following: (1) Python, (2) C, (3) SQL, (4) data analysis, (5) machine learning, (6) deep learning, (7) optimization, (8) interpretability, (9) A/B testing, (10) CNN. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to F5 offices may be required. 

Salary: $185,265.00 - $210,706.00 per annum.
