Your responsibilities will include:
- Translate business problems into data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, issues, and opportunities.
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for analytics and modelling.
- Develop, train, evaluate, and enhance Machine Learning and AI models.
- Apply model evaluation techniques and define success metrics.
- Support operational data workflows and resolve day-to-day data processing issues.
- Produce dashboards, reports, and visualisations that drive business decisions.
- Communicate insights, model behaviour, and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, AI Platform, and Observability teams to productionise solutions.
- Contribute to best practices in data quality, governance, and the responsible use of AI.
Requirements
Skills Required
- Relevant qualification in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of data analysis, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and feature engineering
- Solid foundation in applied statistics and Machine Learning
- Proficiency in Python and data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Experience with SQL and querying structured and semi-structured data
- Knowledge of ETL design and batch/streaming data processing
- Exposure to distributed data systems such as Spark, Kafka, or equivalents
- Experience with experiment design, model evaluation, and validation techniques
- Ability to create dashboards, reports, and data visualisations
- Experience using Git for version control and collaborative development
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical, data-driven solutions
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in Agile, cross-functional teams
