The Role

Now, we’re on the lookout for a Data Scientist to help us build smarter, faster, more personalised travel experiences — and get them into the hands of millions!

About the role

Hybrid

From building machine learning models that guide travellers to the right deal, to scaling data products that power every part of our platform — this is real-world data science that gets results.

You’ll work end-to-end on high-impact projects: scoping problems, exploring data, developing models, evaluating outcomes, and partnering with engineers to bring solutions to life in production. All with a test-and-learn approach and a constant focus on traveller value.

What you’ll be doing
  • Creating intelligent data products that drive personalisation and performance across flights, hotels and car hire

  • Building and deploying machine learning models that make travel experiences faster, smarter, and more relevant

  • Running experiments that are statistically sound and commercially useful — from bidding models to UX enhancements

  • Collaborating with product, marketing and engineering teams to solve complex problems and uncover new opportunities

  • Scaling impact through monitoring, model evaluation and lifecycle management in production environments

  • Always learning — exploring new methods, tools and ideas to sharpen your craft

About you
  • Impact-driven: You’ve contributed to data science projects that made a real impact on live, customer-facing products — not just in theory, but in production.

  • Technically strong: Proficient in Python and SQL, with bonus points for Spark and Airflow

  • Machine learning fluent: You know which model fits which problem and how to make it work in production

  • Product-aware: You’re interested in how your work shapes real experiences, not just metrics

  • Collaborative by nature: You bring ideas to life with teammates from across the business

  • Tools-aware: Familiarity with CatBoost, XGBoost, or TensorFlow? Even better

  • Curious and pragmatic: You care about data quality, impact and system interactions — not just models

  • Clear communicator: Comfortable explaining your thinking to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Sustainability and accessibility focused: You think in systems and solutions, always aiming
for simplicity, inclusivity and long- term value.
