Responsibilities
- Work at the intersection of finance, data, and machine learning; developing models that power credit decisions, risk analysis, personalization, fraud detection, and other core Fintech features.
- Powere our new finTech venture. Building secure, fast, and reliable payment infrastructure designed to support the future of digital commerce. As a Data Scientist on this project, you'll play a critical role in driving data-informed decisions; from fraud detection and user behavior modeling to optimizing payment flows and improving system reliability.
- Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
- Apply best practices for working with ML-Ops infrastructure, improve models and infrastructure to optimize model performance.
- Execute A/B experiments, reach conclusions statistically and build upon learnings continously.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and risk teams to translate business challenges into data science problems.
- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
- Synthesize methodology and data into actionable business strategy and communicate findings to engineering and management teams as driving business impact
Expected Qualifications
- Experience in applied data science and a wide range of data science stack of algorithms and models. Knowledge about fraud and fintech domain is a big plus.
- Good knowledge of python or other programming language. Experience in one or more of the libraries such as scikit-learn, Pytorch and TensorFlow is a plus.
- Good knowledge of SQL and familiarity with best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with a data driven approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with e-commerce or self-service business models is a big plus
- The experience range for this position is suitable for specialist/senior specialist roles
