This role combines linguistic expertise with a solid understanding of AI and machine learning to support the development and refinement of high-quality language outputs. It focuses on evaluating and improving LLM-generated content to ensure accuracy, fluency, and cultural relevance for local users, while working closely with cross-functional teams to align language quality with broader project goals.
What You Will Do
- Annotate datasets in the local language to improve the model’s ability to process multilingual content.
- Clean and preprocess language-specific data, ensuring high-quality inputs for training.
- Analyze and document the unique grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances of the local language.
- Identify and annotate idiomatic expressions, slang, and context-specific terms to enhance the model's understanding.
- Collect and validate data from various sources to train our LLM.
- Assist in fine-tuning the LLM for the local language by creating and refining training datasets.
- Develop language-specific preprocessing strategies, such as tokenization or stemming.
- Curating evaluation sets for Bahasa and dialects.
- Review and evaluate the LLM’s output for accuracy, grammar, and cultural appropriateness in the local language.
- Serve as a human evaluator for model testing, ensuring high-quality outputs.
What You Will Need
- Final year student majoring in mathematics, computer science, computer engineering, and other related majors
- Proficiency in Python programming and basic data processing skills.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high data quality standards.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and contribute to team discussions.
- Available for a 6 month internship period
