ANALYTICA is seeking a Data Science Intern to support technology solutions. This role will be staffed during the Spring semester of 2026, covering the period from late January to late April/Early May. The purpose of this internship is to explore Data Science research that enables Analytica’s best practices. The interns will explore various Data Science technologies and will develop AI software & documentation.
The intern team will present a demonstration of their solution, along with a writeup of their decision process.

- Assisting the project team with development of different operational prototypes in the AI/ML & Automation space, which includes activities such as:
- Collaborating with team to understand how they technologies can improve business operations for our customers
- Using Python for activities including but not limited to: connecting to databases, SharePoint, APIs, or other data endpoints; development of AI/ML model prototypes, integrating statistical tests and validation, writing unit tests and testing frameworks.
- Creating technical documentation
- Assisting with development of operational prototypes in AI/ML and automation
- Collaborating with teams to improve business operations
- Testing and validating solutions
- Implementing simple CI/CD pipelines
- Integrating with AWS (EC2, SageMaker, Databricks) or Azure/Foundry
- Undergraduate and/or graduate in a statistics, data science, computer science, mathematics, or related field. Experience with the following;
- Python development in Data Science
- Change control using Github
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
- Excellent communication skills
- High energy, enthusiasm, ability to learn quickly on the job
- Demonstrate the ability to apply critical thinking skills
- Must be US Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance
