Data Science Intern

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Science Intern to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with other analytics professionals to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will gain hands-on experience with data collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualization, and contribute to real-world projects that drive business impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.
• Support the development and evaluation of machine learning models.
• Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable solutions.
• Document methodologies and present findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Python, R, SQL, and data analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data platforms (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL) or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
• Knowledge of data science modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and statistical modeling.

Base Pay Range: Hourly salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $20.00 - $25.00. However, the actual pay range depends on each candidate’s experience, location, and qualifications.
