Data Science Intern

CorporatePOSITION SUMMARYJoin the U.S. Venture Data and Analytics team as a Data Science Intern for Summer 2025! This internship will start May 2025 through August 2025 and is located at our downtown Appleton office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• The ideal candidate is a data enthusiast who is looking to apply data science methodologies and solutions in industry to solve real-world business scenarios.
• The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of identifying and implementing data science solutions that support US Venture’s strategic initiatives.
• We are seeking an intern who is self-directed and will be comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products.
• We are seeking a team player possessing strong analytical as well as technical skills and who can communicate the logic behind technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• Ability to build processes that support data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management
• Proficiency in Python, with a strong emphasis on data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as Pandas
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms
• Demonstration of previous data science projects is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
