That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

We are looking for a skilled Data Science intern for our Summer 2026 internship program. Our Data science teams here at the DriveTime Family of Brands support several different business verticals including; Marketing, Lending, Indirect Lending and Warranties. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge technologies.

A successful candidate should have experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, and other statistical or analytical coding tools, along with a strong understanding of the full Data Science life cycle.

The data science interns will be responsible for things like:

  • Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making processes
  • Assist in developing and implementing data models, algorithms, and predictive models
  • Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to extract knowledge and patters from data
  • Assist with developing innovative ways to increase data intelligence within the business
  • Present results of analysis to leaders and colleagues

The Specifics.

  • Bachelors or master’s student with a graduation date between December 2026 – May 2027
  • Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related discipline
  • You have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
  • Able to read and write in Python (R is a plus!)
  • Working knowledge in SQL, Tableau and Excel
  • An understanding of the Data Science Life Cycle
  • Our internship program is 11 weeks starting May 18, 2026 - July 31, 2026
  • Internship will be base at our Home office in Dallas, Texas.
  • You can expect a regular on-site schedule; Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Relocation not provided for internship
