One of our product suites, the Monocl product suite, was launched in 2016, developed in Sweden, with Gothenburg as the European Definitive Healthcare HQ. The Monocl team works from locations around the world, with approximately 50 employees based in Sweden.
We are currenty looking for a skilled and driven Data Science Engineer to join our exceptional Engineering team at Definitive Healthcare.
What you'll be doing
In this role, you will work in a team of experienced data scientists and engineers in close collaboration with other teams across Defintitive Healthcare to build, scale, and maintain core data that power insights across the organization.

- Delivering intelligent, data-driven products and solutions
- Designing and building reliable and scalable data pipelines that unify data from across the company into a trusted source of truth

Experience:
- At least 2 years of professional experience in data science and engineering or a related data-focused role
- Experience working in agile teams, collaborating with both engineers and subject matter experts
- Experience with Apache Spark
- Proficiency in Java, Scala or Python
- Experience developing automated, production-quality code, leveraging metrics to evaluate data quality
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Experience with scripting such as Bash
- Understanding of machine learning
