The Opportunity to Make a Difference
R / Shiny Application Development & R Package Support
Contribute to the development or enhancement of R Shiny applications used across the Data Science team.
Assist with updates, documentation, and testing for internal R packages.
Support data visualization and reporting workflows that improve team efficiency and insight generation.
Machine Learning Modeling for Safety Analyses
Collaborate on machine learning model development to support safety‑related research questions.
Assist in data preparation, exploratory analyses, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
Help summarize findings and communicate model performance to scientific stakeholders.
GenAI Biometrics Enablement
Support GenAI‑based initiatives that enhance productivity across the Biometrics function.
Participate in prototyping, prompt design, and evaluation of GenAI workflows.
Assist in identifying opportunities where GenAI can accelerate statistical programming, documentation, or analysis processes.
More about You
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in data science, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Computational Biology, or related discipline.
Foundational experience with R; familiarity with Shiny, Python, or machine learning principles is a plus.
Interest in applying analytics to real‑world scientific and clinical challenges.
Curiosity about biotech/pharma and how data supports drug development.
Strong problem‑solving skills and eagerness to learn new tools and methods.
Ability to organize work effectively, communicate clearly, and collaborate with cross‑functional partners.
Program Timeline
This application is for a 12-week summer internship program that will start on May 18th and conclude on August 7th, 2026.
