Job Title: Data Science Analyst Senior
Job Location: 475 Anton Blvd., Costa Mesa, CA 92626
Lead analytical projects from solution design and data integrity evaluation through solution development, documentation, and implementation; Collaborate with internal and external partners to determine the appropriate analysis parameters and performance measures to be applied as well as requirements for decision tools and strategy implementation and monitoring; Understand the analytic needs of the mortgage and rental industry through interactions with clients, partners, and internal constituencies; Communicate with and deliver presentations to end users on analysis results; Produce implementation plans and participate in model governance and testing to support the implementation of statistical models and other decision tools; Support field sales force and marketing organization by providing analytical expertise; Support the development of new analytical and data products and services, and the enhancement of current processes and offerings; Evaluate new data sources identifying the most appropriate machine learning/deep learning/data mining/text mining techniques to uncover the value of the data; Develops dashboards and reports, leveraging data visualization and other tools; Efficiently manage his/her own project queue and develop streamlined workflows with cross-functional teams. QualificationsEmployer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Science Analyst Senior-related occupation. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Science Analyst Senior-related occupation, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Position requires experience in the following:
- Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python, PySpark, Java, Scala etc.), and statistical/mathematical programming languages (e.g. R, SAS)
- Experience in cloud-based development environment and automation tools such as AWS, Hadoop, Azure, Airflow etc.
- Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools such as Tableau, QuickSight etc.
- Experience with statistical analysis, applying various machine learning techniques, predictive modeling, and data mining to interpret data and solve business problems.
- Experience communicating ideas and analysis results effectively both verbally and in writing to both a technical and non-technical audience
