eBay, Inc. seeks Data Science - Analyst 3 in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Develop metrics and baseline table for monitoring the Ads product. Develop data visualization dashboard to monitor the health of different aspects of Ads product. Perform data analysis using statistics and machine learning to address the issues from Ads business and sellers.  Work closely with Go-to-Market and product teams to launch products to improve seller experience with advertisement products on eBay.  Deliver insights to identify the customer pain points and product growth opportunities. Perform deep dives to understand customer engagement with existing products. Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor the health of business and measure the impact of product launches on key business metrics. Build prototype models using statistics and machine learning to improve and optimize the user experience. Partial telecommuting permitted from within commutable distance.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mathematics in Finance, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Salary: $148,699.00-205,700.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
