Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and independent Data Research Associate to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable compiling and summarizing complex information into clear insights.
You will primarily work with city council meetings and municipal agendas, using AI tools to extract and organize relevant data. No prior experience in real estate is required — we value precision, adaptability, and strong research skills above all.
The insights you generate will directly support strategic decision-making and provide our clients with a competitive edge in identifying development opportunities.
Key ResponsibilitiesReview municipal and city council agenda minutes to extract and summarize information on:
New developments
Special district formations and updates
Impact fees and Capital Improvement Plans (CIP)
Other relevant municipal development information
Use AI and research tools to compile, structure, and validate data.
Maintain and organize findings in project management platforms for collaboration and tracking.
Conduct additional research assignments, including parcel research, property tax rate updates, and retrieval of publicly available documents.
Ensure all collected data is clear, accurate, and ready to support decision-making.
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in research, data analysis, or related roles.
Strong detail orientation and ability to work independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2 level or higher required).
Proven ability to compile, analyze, and summarize information effectively.
- Experience with CAD tools and Monday.com is a plus but not required
Familiarity with U.S. municipal processes is a plus, but not required.
No real estate experience required.
Salary: $1,200 USD/month
Remote position, based in Colombia
Expected availability during U.S. Central Time hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (flexible with accountability to deadlines)
