The analyst will be part of the Incidents Team, one of the Data team responsible for delivering Sustainalytics' suite of ESG products
The Incidents Team is responsible for uncovering and assessing negative corporate conduct across a wide variety of thematic areas, focusing on delivering the right insights that our clients use to make better-informed investment decisions.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct timely and in-depth screening, research and review for companies involved or potentially involved in environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.
- Prepare product deliverables and participate in quality assurance processes prior to the research delivery, as necessary.
- Support the Research Team in responding to client queries about our research, as necessary.
- Support the Research Lead with coordination of business processes and research publication, or lead coordination of minor projects.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in the organization to provide relevant/needed information about the research status, as necessary
- Contribute to methodology development and/or testing/implementation of new research
- Quickly learn and integrate new technical skills and knowledge
Qualifications
- Business English oral and writing skills are essential, as the company's working language is English.
- Good research, analytical and writing capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Resourceful, flexible and embraces change.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Alignment with Sustainalytics' mission, vision and values.
