The Data Quality Analytics & Reporting Group Manager strategically follows the latest trends and adapts them for application across the enterprise in coordination with the Data Quality Analytics & Reporting team. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate the CCR data quality issues to determine the root cause.
- Define solutions, working with technology and relevant business partners to address DQ issues and deliver risk projects.
- Remediation of current CCR related Data quality issues and supporting the process of documenting, monitoring, and prioritizing key initiatives for Risk
- Work with technology to develop plans for consistent usage of data across various risk calculations (PSE, NSE, RWA, Stress Losses, VaR and others).
- Lead initiatives within businesses, function, and across the enterprise. Ability to communicate strategic insights and updates. Partner with key members of Risk and Technology to develop a cohesive strategy
- Manages resource allocation of work on key projects/initiatives
- Deals with complex and highly variable issues with substantial potential business impact
- Applies ingenuity and creativity to problem analysis and resolution in complicated and/or novel situations
- Acts as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level personnel in the business processes and procedures of the business
- Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions
- Influences strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services that have direct impact on the business
- Designs/analyzes complex reports to satisfy management requirements
- Automation, controls & process efficiency mindset
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred
- Experience monitoring and managing Data Quality on an ongoing basis, including identifying and resolving issues; executing against Data Quality strategies and policies
- Familiar with the financial markets’ instruments and Credit Risk - Good understanding of Credit risk with focus on derivatives and security financing transactions.
- Proficient in MS-Excel and data analytics (Tableau / Power BI).
- Experience with data management tools and applications, including process mapping and lineage toolsets (Ex: SQL, SAS, etc.)
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple competing priorities while delivering results quickly and efficiently.
- Detail oriented, self-starter and able to ensure that complex data governance concepts, issues, policies, regulatory requirements, and industry information affecting the business environment and being able to simply the issues and correctly documented
- Organizational savvy; understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret them

- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
