Data Project Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Data Project Manager to join our innovative and dynamic team. 

This role requires onsite work three (3) days per week in Indianapolis, IN. 

Data Project Manager | About You 

As a Data Project Manager, you are responsible for driving clarity, alignment, and execution across complex, data‑focused initiatives. You excel at bringing structure to ambiguity and ensuring teams stay coordinated, informed, and moving forward. You’re highly organized, technically curious, and able to quickly grasp new data concepts, platforms, and workflows. You communicate with confidence, build strong relationships, and collaborate effectively across engineering, analytics, product, and leadership teams. You thrive in fast‑paced, evolving environments where proactive follow‑through and strong ownership are essential to delivering successful outcomes. 

Data Project Manager | Day-to-Day 

• Manage end‑to‑end project plans for consumer data and digital initiatives, ensuring clear timelines, milestones, and dependencies. 
• Work across cross‑functional teams to drive work forward, resolve blockers, and maintain alignment between technical and business stakeholders. 
• Facilitate meetings with decision‑makers, providing structure, clarity, and actionable next steps. 
• Track and document progress across multiple workstreams using project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira). 
• Coordinate requirements, deliverables, and communication across data, engineering, analytics, and platform teams. 
• Ensure accurate follow‑ups, proactive risk identification, and timely escalation of issues to keep projects on schedule. 

Data Project Manager | Skills & Experience 

• 7+ years of experience in Data Project Management, leading data‑focused, technical, or digital initiatives across cross‑functional teams. 
• Strong proficiency with Smartsheet and Jira, including building project plans, dashboards, and workflow tracking. 
• Ability to quickly understand new technical concepts, data workflows, and platform integrations. 
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead meetings, partner with decision‑makers, and distill complex information into clear actions. 
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple workstreams simultaneously. 
• Strong follow‑through, with the ability to drive accountability and maintain momentum across diverse teams. 
• Experience working in pharma, healthcare, or similarly regulated data environment is highly preferred.
