OVERVIEW
ISS-STOXX is currently seeking a Data Project Manager as a full-time employee based in Prague. As an associate in the Index Data Services team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and managing data delivery projects across multiple technical and operational groups.
The role also involves understanding the impact of product design decisions, keeping in mind the operational and technical capabilities of the platform, and ensure smooth and timely delivery of index data services projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Index Data Services is responsible for the functionality, which provides a single point of ingestion for internal and external data. We are looking for an experienced Data Project Manager to join us and help deliver these efforts.
As a Data Project Manager, you will collaborate with Product Managers, development teams, and business partners to drive initiatives that enable client mandates, through the use of the ingested data, by:

Managing cross-functional projects throughout the development lifecycle from inception through launch

Excel in managing projects, but also keep an eye on the big picture and not be afraid to upend existing systems and processes if need be

Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring good judgment and flexibility

Driving requirements gathering, ensuring that appropriate specifications and acceptance criteria are diligently captured for each onboarding request early on the ingestion lifecycle

Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

Report and escalate to management as needed

Organize meetings, including agenda preparation and document coordination.

Efficiently manage the submission of documents and record accurate meeting minutes.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
University Degree, in Business administration, finance or comparable education
-
Experience with Financial Markets, Financial Technology or Risk Management data providers, a plus
-
1-3 years of relevant professional experience in project management, in a data services, software or financial services firm
-
Interest in / exposure to capital markets, asset management and related industries preferred, previous work experience in a similar role is a plus

Attention to detail and strict adherence to deadlines

Ability and willingness to learn domain knowledge

Commitment to learning through immediate responsibility

Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
-
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

IT literacy, with experience of using JIRA and SQL

Experience in working within Agile delivery environments.
