ABOUT THE POSITION:
The UD Team Data and Programming Associate will provide stakeholders with key data analysis, as well create an academic and testing schedule that supports a population of over-age, under-credited adolescents

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
Urban Dove Team Charter School (UD Team) is a distinctive network of sports-based high schools catering to over-aged, under-credited youth. We fuse a robust academic curriculum with sports-based youth development, ensuring our graduates receive a diploma, a stepping stone for higher education, and essential job skills.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Foster a welcoming environment for students, families, staff, and visitors.
  • Actively participate in the Attendance Task Force.
  • Aid in student recruitment, enrollment, and school events.
  • Mentor a select group of students and engage in staff activities.
  • Schedule students on platforms like Jupiter, iXL, Achieve 3000, and Rosetta Stone.
  • Oversee test administrations, from midterms to Regents exams.
  • Handle test logistics: student rosters, proctoring schedules, and exam disposal.
  • Coordinate specialized testing like Regents Field Testing and Reading/Math Inventories.
  • Monitor graduation timelines and alternate pathways.
  • Process student transfers, discharges, and maintain UD Team's accountability data.
  • Ensure adherence to graduation credit requirements and accurate student record-keeping.
  • Handle compliance reports, such as BEDS, and assist with Per Pupil billing.
  • Generate reports on credit accumulation, attendance, and test outcomes.
  • Produce growth reports for Reading and Math Inventories and Regents exams.
  • Share relevant data with teams, ensuring informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in schools preferred
  • Transfer School experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to “multi-task” and deliver high quality work
  • Desire to devise programming to address the unique needs of our population
  • Commitment to the UD Team mission and core values of Teamwork, Leadership, and Communication
  • Commitment to the use of restorative practices and a strength-based, youth development approach to student issues
  • Ability to function well as part of a team and work independently
  • Must be team-oriented, with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, a passion for serving at-risk youth, and a sense of humor
  • Ability to actively engage with students and move throughout the school as needed.
  • Ability to navigate stairs and assist with setup or materials as required. Accommodations available per ADA.

Compensation: $45,760 to $50,000 annually based on years of experience and education.
