The Data Processing Specialist is responsible for data and stock management for Logistics & Warehouse.
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure all Goods Received Notes details entered and updated in timely manner in SAP system.
- Manage and coordinate with external warehouse (3rd party) on stock management and inventory movements.
- Ensure all data inputs of logistics and warehouse details entered and updated in timely manner in SAP / Inventory control system.
- To coordinate with the external warehouse regarding the materials incoming receiving and the space related issues (storage capacity).
- To perform and monitor the goods received note, materials issuance to production, stock reclassification for sales orders, materials location transfer and stock reconciliation Area of responsibility.
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments, internally and externally, to solve problems related to warehouse and logistics activities.
- To perform and assist root cause analysis as remedy for operational related issues and for continuous process improvement.
- Identify areas need for continuous improvement plans and make appropriate recommendations and remedies related with process improvement.
- Perform materials order management by raise purchase requisition for direct / indirect materials.
- Manage and monitor the MRP for packaging and raw materials.
- Co-ordinate and interface with sourcing, production, process, technical and customer service departments on material and shipment issues.
- To monitor the waste management activities and disposal management for all type of wastes from company.
Qualified candidates will have:
Mandatory requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in relevant field
- Work experience in Logistics, Warehousing & Supply Chain
- English and Malay fluency, both written and spoken
Desirable requirements:
- Working knowledge of warehouse management, inventory management, logistics/transport management & supply chain management is desirable.
- Mandarin fluency, both written and spoken
- Knowledge in SAP
