Job Details

Kantar Worldpanel’s core business is in the continuous measurement and analysis of consumer purchasing and usage behavior. The Data processing Executive will contribute to the team’s primary focus on enhancing the efficiencies of the Worldpanel data and processes included in data generation. He / she will be responsible for coordinating with the product dictionary, panel management and data quality teams for the day-to-day execution of the project.

Role Description:

  • As a Data Production executive, you will be responsible for programming, data editing,
  • tabulation, quality assurance and project communication
  • Perform data validation to assess data quality at all stages of the data processing by applying relevant statistical tools
  • Check for outliers in the data before releasing monthly deliverables
  • Coordinate with product dictionary, data quality and PM teams for any clarification in the data and resolve any issues
  • Prepare data for newly recruited member and upload to GPM
  • Designing of macros / automation tools for process and efficiency improvements
  • Opportunity to deepen the analytical and technical skills by exploring data management tools such as SQL/ Python/ PowerBI in day-to-day work
  • Passionate about automation, and familiar with identifying and delivering on quality, reported through critical metrics and dashboards
  • Monitor data quality and provide regular feedback reports to all stake holders / teams.
  • Update the demographic database yearly based on the demographic survey
  • GPM – Super user
  • Regular maintenance of recruitment scripts

Role requirements:

  • University degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Science or Statistics
  • Relevant work experience in a handling large databases and advanced knowledge on data management routines
  • Relevant experience in the market research industry in the domain of Data management, Data analysis, Data processing, Tabulation, experience in working with complex data sets in online/Offline environment is preferred
  • Experience in handling large and multiple data formats and conversant with procedures related to data management and data editing by applying a wide range of techniques using software such as MSSQL, Python, SPSS, Quantum etc.
  • Strong programming knowledge in Java, .net VB JSP, PHP, JSON etc.
  • Experience in working with various methodologies of data collection tools including online & mobile apps
  • Strong statistical knowledge and experience in statistical tabulation, weighting methods and projection techniques
  • Ability to deal with problems that are varied and require analysis or interpretation of the situation, by using knowledge and skills, and general precedents and practices
  • Excellent written, oral and electronic communication skills, particularly in the ability to explain technical points to non-technical people
  • Experience in dashboard tools will be advantageous (example PowerBI)
  • Experience in scripting and launch of surveys (online and offline) in platforms like LUMI / nField / Dimensions / ConfirmIT will be an added advantage
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn new ways of doing things and an enthusiastic work ethic
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders to challenge and capture requirements and deliver projects effectively
  • Can work with cross functional teams to identify root causes and involve key contributors for issue resolution
