At Pluxee, we are looking for a Data Platform Engineer responsible for designing, building, operating, and optimizing Microsoft-based data platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
This role ensures the availability, performance, security, and scalability of data systems while enabling analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. The position works closely with local, regional, and global infrastructure, cybersecurity, platform, and business teams.
The role reports directly to the Infrastructure Leader and functionally to the Regional/Global Data Spoke.
🚀 Your next challenge
- Design and implement scalable data storage, processing, and management solutions.
- Build, maintain, and optimize data processing pipelines, ensuring data quality and reliability.
- Administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Automate deployment, provisioning, patching, and database administration processes.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and fine-tune database performance to support high-volume workloads.
- Establish data standards, security measures, and access controls to ensure compliance and data protection.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, and business teams to deliver efficient data solutions.
- Build and enhance internal developer platforms (IDP) to support data users and engineering teams.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required.

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator, IT Infrastructure Administrator, or Cloud Engineer.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) is required.
- Strong experience with: Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
- Certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Database Administrator Associate, or AWS equivalents are highly valued.
- Mandatory knowledge of: Database automation frameworks and Database architecture processes
- Experience working in hybrid cloud/on-premise environments is highly desirable.
- Strong Microsoft 365 proficiency.
- Advanced English level, with the ability to hold business and technical conversations fluently.
- Experience managing vendors and technology providers is considered a strong plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Teamwork, collaboration, and a service-oriented mindset.
