• Collaborates with the SCSEP Career Navigators and Program Manager to ensure documents are
accurate.
• Enter and update participant and Host Agency information in the database (GPMS) promptly.
• Run reports in GPMS to ensure information is accurate, and report findings to Program Manager
• Ensure onboard paperwork and background check forms are completed properly.
• Upload onboarding information into the HR database system (SAGE) and submit background checks
to Safety for review for SCSEP enrollments.
• Maintain database (s) of personnel information and accurate payroll records.
• Collect, verify, and record SCSEP participant timecards.
• Upload SCSEP Participant timecards into the payroll system (ADP)
• Key in production sheets for SCSEP participants as needed.
• Review reports to ensure the accuracy of payroll.
• Assist SCSEP participants with obtaining pay verification.
• Compile reports to report monthly In-Kind Hours and quarterly Community Service Assignment
Hours
• Cooperate with different departments to increase payroll service performance.
• Maintain an organized, neat workspace, while upholding agency security procedures for confidential
information
• Adhere to Agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain
same to meet CARF, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
Preferred QualificationsThis is a grant-funded position providing support for the Mission Services SCSEP Program. The Data & Payroll Coordinator will complete and input SCSEP participant personnel records into HR system. Collect, input, and process the biweekly payroll of SCSEP participants. Maintain SCSEP database and data entry.
SCSEP (Senior Community Service Employment Program) is an on-the-job training and employment program designed to help those aged fifty-five (55) and older update their jobs skills, build work experience and confidence, and continue to have economic security and well-being.y

Education and Experience
Minimum requirements are an Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Certificate of Higher Education in Accounting, or High School graduate with at least five years’ experience in payroll processing and General Ledger.
Physical Demands
While performing these job duties, the employee is regularly required to: talk and/or hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Skills Required
- Experience processing payroll and General Ledger (minimum five years if High School diploma candidate)
- Associate's Degree in Accounting or Certificate of Higher Education in Accounting (or High School graduate with required experience)
- Experience using GPMS for participant/host data entry and reporting
- Experience using SAGE HR/database systems for onboarding and personnel records
- Experience using ADP for payroll entry and verification
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and demonstrate organizational skills
- Ability to make sound business/accounting decisions
