- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Enterprise Data Platforms such as the Enterprise Data Warehouse, ensuring high availability, performance and scalability.
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance and support of data infrastructure.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency of data operations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data operations processes, standards, and procedures.
- Lead response to data related incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact on business operations.
- Perform root cause analysis for data issues and implement corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor the performance of data platforms, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and performance issues. Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing to ensure optimal system performance and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide solutions to meet business requirements, including performing complex ad hoc data queries.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Governance teams to monitor, uphold and improve stability of our Enterprise Data Platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 6 years related experience
- Bachelors Degree holder of any Computer related course.
- Experience working with SQL required
- Experience working with Enterprise Data Warehouse platforms required
- Experience with Data Lake, Streaming & Big Data technologies preferred.
- Experience working with Python is preferred.
- Experience with cloud data platforms preferred (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud)
- Leadership / Managerial experience preferred.
