We are seeking a talented individual to join our Innovation & Data Organization (IDO) team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai, India. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.


The Data Ingestion Capability Center Lead is responsible for leading a high-performing team that supports business teams with data ingestion and related operational work, while ensuring service levels are consistently met. This role balances day-to-day operational excellence with a clear mandate to modernize the operating model through automation, workflow redesign, and forward-looking transformation.


You will lead the team, shape the service model, and partner with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure the center continues to deliver reliable outcomes today while building the future-state model for tomorrow.



We will count on you to:

  • Lead and develop the operations team responsible for delivering data ingestion and related processing work.
  • Ensure service levels, accuracy, quality, and productivity targets are consistently achieved.
  • Create a strong operating rhythm that protects business continuity while driving continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation, workflow redesign, and improved data ingestion capabilities.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to shape solutions that improve scalability, efficiency, and quality.
  • Monitor operating metrics, unit economics, and performance trends to drive data-backed decisions.
  • Build a culture of accountability, problem solving, and operational discipline across the team.
  • Balance near-term delivery with longer-term transformation, ensuring the team remains effective as volumes and complexity evolve.

What you need to have: 

  • Significant experience leading operations, service delivery, or capability center teams in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong background in operational management, SLA delivery, quality control, and people leadership.
  • Proven ability to improve workflows, reduce manual work, and support automation or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, or Technology teams to solve operational issues at the source.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to improve performance and decision-making.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, or another regulated environment is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; operations, business, or related discipline preferred.
