About the teamWe're a diverse group of creative people who love to learn, collaborate, and solve large-scale problems that impact millions daily. We are looking for an inquisitive, curious, and talented Data Operations Intern to join our team and help us build a more data-informed design organization. As a Data Ops intern, you won't just be "crunching numbers" - you will be helping us institutionalize best practices in product data analysis. You will serve as the bridge between raw data and actionable insights, ensuring our designers and product managers have the high-quality information they need to make world-class decisions.
What you'll do
- Synthesizing Insights: Conduct and synthesize findings from stakeholder interviews (including Design Managers) to define the most critical metrics for measuring team success and design effectiveness
- Creating Standards: Design, build, and document a core library of 3-5 high-impact, standardized dashboard templates within Amplitude and other data reporting tools
- Driving Consistency: Partner with User Research Operations and designers to validate metric integrity and create the "Standardization Guide" (including clear metric definitions, usage instructions, and data quality checks).
- Enabling the Team: Distill complex data problems and analysis methods into approachable steps, sharing your findings and templates with the cross-functional team to enable consistent, data-informed decision-making
- Available for a full-time 12-week internship, working from our London office 3-5 days a week during the summer (May-Aug)
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree or enrolled full time in an equivalent training program in a quantitative field, such as Design Management, Data Science, Psychology, Journalism, or Business Management
- Human-focused, highly-collaborative, critical and strategic thinker
- Hands-on experience with Amplitude (preferred) or similar product analytics platforms(e.g., Mixpanel, Heap, Lookr, Tableau, Google Analytics)
