Opportunity

The Data Operations Engineer will play a pivotal role in implementing and maintaining data pipelines to ensure seamless integration with our partners. This position requires strong technical expertise in integration technologies, proficiency in Python and SQL, and exceptional communication skills for engaging with partners during technical discussions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with systems such as Snowflake, Workato, Rivery, and SFTP servers. Preference will be given to applicants with healthcare informatics experience, particularly those familiar with code systems and interoperable standards like EDI X12, HL7 v2/3, and FHIR.


Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to support data integration and transformation processes with tools including Workato, Rivery, and Snowflake
  • Collaborate with partners to understand their data requirements and provide technical guidance to align with Twin's standard operating procedures
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver sustainable data integrations
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security throughout the data integration process
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data pipelines and integration
  • Develop and implement data validation and monitoring strategies to ensure ongoing data integrity
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to a collaborative and high-performing engineering team
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration specifications, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data integration processes and methodologies
  • Engage in proactive problem-solving to identify and address potential data integration challenges before they impact operations
  • Ensure compliance with HIPPA and other relevant healthcare data standards and regulations
  • Additional duties as assigned


Qualifications 

  • Education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, a related field, or four years of work experience
  • Strong expertise in data integration and pipeline tools such as Snowflake, Workato, Rivery, and SFTP servers
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Preference for candidates with healthcare informatics and understanding of health plan operations
  • Familiarity with healthcare data interoperability standards like EDI X12, HL7v2/3, and FHIR
  • This remote opportunity is available to US based persons. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.


Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $120,000-$135,000 annually.
