Summary:
Cognism, the leading sales intelligence platform, seeks a skilled Platform Infrastructure Engineer to join our collaborative team. In this role, you'll play a vital role in designing, building, and maintaining the robust and scalable infrastructure that underpins whole data team development processes.
This role will focus mostly on DataOps, or to be more specific, ServerLess and big data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage cloud infrastructure across various platforms (AWS, AliCloud, Azure) adhering to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
- Collaborate with numerous teams to ensure efficient delivery of infrastructure solutions that meet all requirements.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment pipelines for delivering robust dataops infrastructure.
- Optimize and maintain our CI/CD pipeline using Github Actions, ensuring efficient and reliable continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Document infrastructure, deployments, and CI/CD processes for future reference and team onboarding.
Technologies:
- Cloud Providers: AWS, Azure, AliCloud, and various SaaS platforms
- Orchestration: ECS, EKS (Kubernetes)
- Serverless: Step Functions, EMR, Lambdas, API Gateway
- Deployment & CI/CD: Github Actions, FluxCD, ArgoCD, Terraform
- Databases: Various SQL and NoSQL solutions
- Cloud Services: VPC, EC2, ELB, S3 (and their equivalents across cloud providers)
- Observability: Coralogix, OTEL, Cloud Provider Services, Prometheus, Loki, Thanos
Required skills:
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, AliCloud, Azure, etc.)
- Experience with ServerLess and big data technologies. (Focus on AWS).
- Experience with Terraform, IaC best practices, and infrastructure automation tools.
- Experience with CI/CD methodologies and tools like Github Actions.
- Collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of highly scalable and resilient infrastructure principles.
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems.
- 2+ years of experience working with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Knowledge in coding or scripting in Python, Golang or Bash
Nice to have:
- Experience in container orchestration (ECS, EKS/kubernetes) and deployment tools (Helm, FluxCD/ArgoCD).
