As a Data Operations Senior Associate in the Data Operations Team, you conduct independent analysis to uncover patterns leading to new questions and solutions through data collection, integrity, utilization, requirements, and analysis. You apply your technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies across multiple applications of moderate scope. Use your elevated technical skills to support the design and development of metrics reporting and dashboards to enable Operations Management to execute their strategic objectives and ensure conformance with all controls, policies, and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
  • Document business requirements in JIRA, including success criteria, and ensure timely sign-off.
  • Support the JIRA lifecycle, including issue tracking, prioritization, and resolution.
  • Assist in the prioritization of sprint backlogs by evaluating tasks against business goals and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address critical and high-impact tasks in each sprint cycle.
  • Support release management activities to ensure efficient delivery of project milestones.
  • Assist in coordinating technical funding activities to support project initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of AI-driven strategies for managing reconciliation match rules.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
  • Support the definition of product vision, roadmap, metrics, and OKRs in partnership with the Product Manager.
  • Participate in agile best practices, including writing user stories, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure quality and timely updates are reported in Portfolio Intelligence and communicated in relevant forums.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software product development and change management.
  • Proficiency with project management and business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and MS Office (e.g., PowerPoint, Visio, Excel).
  • Working knowledge of digital tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau).
  • Understanding of Reference Data Account & Standing Settlement Instruction.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Experience in software delivery and agile-focused development environments.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience in financial services or a related industry.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with technical funding processes and business case development.
