Job Summary:
As a Data Operations Associate within Payments Client Service, Implementation and Operations, you will ensure the accuracy and quality of data. You will collaborate with a global team to enhance data sourcing processes, address control issues, and support the execution of our strategic roadmap. In this role, you will gain expertise in industry-leading data tools and contribute to the ongoing success of our organization. You will be part of a team focused on continuous improvement and innovation, promoting excellence in regulatory reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve processes to enhance data sourcing for regulatory reporting
- Manage and resolve control breaks identifsied in data processes
- Support the delivery of the strategic controls roadmap
- Develop and implement enhanced data quality rules and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data quality improvements
- Document and design process and data flows
- Up-skill in tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Excel, JIRA, and Confluence
- Participate in change management initiatives related to regulatory reporting
- Ensure data used in regulatory submissions meets high standards of accuracy and conformity
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Strong data-centric and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively in an inclusive team environment
- Willingness to develop new skills and learn new tools
- Experience with data analysis and process improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, JIRA, or Confluence
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Demonstrated understanding of data analysis fundamentals
- Experience documenting and designing process or data flows
- Prior experience in regulatory reporting or financial services
- Familiarity with change management processes
- Knowledge of data quality management best practices
- Experience working in a global or matrixed organization
