As a Data Operations Associate in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
You will conduct independent analysis to uncover patterns leading to new questions and solutions through data collection, integrity, utilization, requirements, and analysis. You apply your technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies across multiple applications of moderate scope. Use your elevated technical skills to support the design and development of metrics reporting and dashboards to enable Operations Management to execute their strategic objectives and ensure conformance with all controls, policies, and procedures.
Job responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of information, insights, and solutions that inform business strategies and decisions by making recommendations for managing more complex situations
  • Evaluate information and processes for analysis and reporting purposes
  • Validate hypotheses, mitigates risks, and optimizes solutions
  • Contribute significantly to the development of predictive models and data insights
  • Source and structure datasets to build graphical visualizations and programing decision-support dashboards, utilizing Intelligence Automation to help with operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and process optimization where strategic solutions are not feasible
  • Collaborate on functional requirements from stakeholders and translates into technical and data requirements


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience delivering data-driven problem solving or equivalent experience
  • Expert in data extraction and manipulation using Python
  • Experience in automating excel based financial analysis tools using Python
  • Expert in building dynamic excel tools for analysis and dashboarding
  • Proven ability to gather and analyze complex data and develop accurate conclusions with sufficient business comprehension to understand risk implications
  • Experience working on the development of predictive models and data insights
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office suite experience


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of query writing and execution using data analysis tools
  • Certification in Data Technology, Agile or other project management applications
