ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
We are currently seeking Senior Data Consultants to support and drive the growth of our Data practice, particularly in our Data Analysis / Data Modelling stream. This is an exciting opportunity to be a leader, in a growing team of data practitioners, where you will be initiating and implementing cutting-edge data & analytics programmes for top-tier Financial Services clients.
This role sits at the intersection of ontology development, data modeling, AI engineering, and banking domain logic, enabling the creation of knowledge graphs, decision structures, and rule systems that support an enterprise‑wide AI pipeline.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and maintain enterprise ontologies, taxonomies, and semantic models across financial services.
- Develop and manage enterprise knowledge graphs to enable natural language access, reasoning, and AI-driven insights.
- Define business entities, relationships, rules, and vocabularies using semantic standards (RDF, OWL, SKOS).
- Translate business knowledge, policies, and regulatory requirements into machine-readable semantic models.
- Partner with Data, Architecture, and AI teams to embed ontology and knowledge graph capabilities into Domain Agents and future AI products.
- Establish scalable semantic frameworks that can be reused across multiple business domains.
SKILLS & EXPERTISE
- 6+ years of experience in ontology modelling, knowledge engineering, or semantic data architecture within Financial Services.
- Proven experience building enterprise knowledge graphs and designing ontologies is mandatory.
- Exceptional data modellers with strong enterprise data modelling experience will also be considered, with knowledge graph and ontology/taxonomy experience.
- Strong understanding of taxonomy design, semantic modelling, controlled vocabularies, business glossaries, and ontology management.
- Strong conceptual and logical data modelling skills with the ability to model complex business domains and relationships.
- Understanding of how ontologies and knowledge graphs support LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, semantic search, and reasoning capabilities.
- Experience working with structured rule definitions and metadata standards (e.g., YAML, JSON).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to facilitate domain modelling workshops and align business and technical teams.
