Data Movement Engineer (Storage & AWS)

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Data Movement Engineer to design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and highly available storage movement services across enterprise infrastructure and AWS cloud environments.

You will work with modern file and object storage technologies, ensuring reliable movement of data between on-premise storage platforms and AWS services. The role combines storage engineering, cloud infrastructure, networking, automation, and troubleshooting to support enterprise applications and users.

• Design and maintain enterprise data movement and storage solutions.
  
• Configure and administer SMB (CIFS) file shares and services.
  
• Configure and manage NFS storage in Linux/Unix environments.
  
• Implement and manage Amazon S3 storage, including:
  • Buckets
    
  • Versioning
    
  • Lifecycle policies
    
  • Encryption
    
  • Access control
    
• Support secure and efficient movement of data between storage platforms.
  
• Troubleshoot storage performance and connectivity issues.
  
• Automate operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  
• Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, networking, and application teams.
  
• Ensure storage services meet security, scalability, and availability requirements.
