As our Data Migration Specialist, your main responsibility is to prepare, coordinate and execute data migrations from one system to another, following best practice.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient data migration processes that meet business requirements and corporate standards. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
Over the last 2 years we have implemented D365FO as our new cloud-based ERP platform in two of our business divisions: Enterprise and Gaming, and we are continuing our journey to also roll out in our Hearing division in conjunction with a new target architecture combining with SalesForce.
You will contribute to our Digital Transformation representing a broad range of solutions and together with your colleagues, you are part of establishing the best-in-class digital solutions with the purpose of bringing People and applications closer.
The team you will be part of:
At our global HQ located in Ballerup, Denmark, you will join our global Finance, People & Culture Solutions within Digital, Data and IT (DDI).
You will join an international team, consisting of D365FO Functional Consultants, Technical consultants and Delivery managers.
The team is overall responsible for designing and ensuring Finance, People & Culture automation solutions enabling end users to work in most optimal way. In the role as data migration specialist, you will utilize your experience to enable the development of the GN Data migration expert team by encouraging innovation, securing continuous improvement within data migration processes and work closely together across the DDI organization, transformation program and business units.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:
Participate in programs and projects as dedicated data migration resource.
Design and build data migration processes that are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Be responsible for related data analysis and preparation. Identify data issues to be resolved.
Collaborate with stakeholders to derive data migration requirements.
Work across DDI & the organization to ensure alignment and delivery.
Facilitate requirement workshops, document and communicate decisions.
Support data verification processes across IT & business.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure proper documentation of all data migration activities.
Identify methodologies and techniques/tools to improve data migration processes, incl. quality, cost, time and transparency.
To thrive in the role, we imagine that you:
Have a higher educational background within Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field of study.
Experience from large scale data migration projects
Experience with NAV, D365FO and Salesforce or similar technologies.
Substantial working experience with SQL/BI or similar solutions.
Experienced in building data transformation scripts.
Detailed oriented with focus on data accuracy and data quality.
Structured and problem-solving skills.
Capable of translating organizational requirements into solutions and communicate these to non-technical colleagues.
Commitment to excellence, customer orientation and value proposition.
Are fluently in written and spoken English and you are comfortable communicating with others.
You can navigate in a global organization with multiple touch points with your structured approach and ability to prioritize your efforts. You are curious by nature, engaged and can make the complex understandable to your stakeholders.
