The Data Migration Manager plays a critical role in the successful implementation of External Systems Interfaces (ESI) for Elekta software. This position focuses on defining customer requirements, planning and executing ESI projects using HL7 standards, and ensuring seamless data exchange between various healthcare systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES – 

Project Management:
o    Manage the entire lifecycle of ESI projects, from initial planning and requirements gathering to successful go-live.
o    Develop and execute project plans, monitor progress, and address any challenges that arise.
o    Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Technical implementation:
o    Install, configure, and test Elekta Mosaiq software and associated third-party applications.
o    Perform database migrations, one-time data imports, DB merges and updates, ensuring data integrity 
o    Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to database connectivity, data mapping, and data quality.
o    Provide expert technical support to customers, including remote troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues.
o    Ensure all installations and configurations adhere to Elekta's technical guidelines and industry best practices.

Customer Collaboration:
o    Build strong relationships with customers, understand their unique needs, and provide exceptional support throughout the project lifecycle.
o    Effectively communicate project status, address customer concerns, and ensure their satisfaction.

Continuous Improvement:
o    Contribute to the ongoing improvement of ESI processes, documentation, and best practices.
o    Participate in product development activities and provide valuable feedback.

RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES – 

•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.

•    Proven experience in healthcare IT, with a strong understanding of HL7 standards and data integration principles.

•    Solid understanding of SQL and experience with database administration and migration tasks.

•    Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

•    Strong customer service orientation with a focus on building and maintaining relationships.

•    Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
