The Role
Location: Harrisburg, PA 
Position Type: Hybrid, must be onsite for 1 week per month
Contract Length: 2.5 years
W2 only, US Citizen or Permanent Residents

Required:
Must have previous experience in roadway tolling, IV&V and quality assurance.

Position Overview: This position is responsible for providing IV&V services to assess and ensure the quality and integrity of a large-scale financial and customer service modernization project. The role involves analyzing project requirements, testing software functionality, and providing objective insights, issues, concerns, and solutions to proactively advise the client and development teams. 

In this role, you and a small team will provide independent Validation & Verification (IV&V) services on an industry leading system integration project. 

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in data migration, data architecture, or data engineering roles. 
  • Demonstrated success managing large scale data migrations, including project involving tens of millions of records. 
  • Proven experience leading complex data migrations, particularly in environments where source system documentation is limited or nonexistent. 
  • Experience reverse engineering legacy databases and undocumented systems to identify and extract relevant data.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business users, technical teams, and SMEs to fill in knowledge gaps and validate assumptions about legacy data.
  • Extensive Quality Control experience is required, specific IV&V experience is preferred. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide clear, actionable recommendations and insights with senior leadership and development teams.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality results and exceeding client expectations. 
  • Preferred experience working within the toll industry but not required.  
Duties:
  • Develop and maintain IV&V work plans, metrics, schedules, test plans, test procedures, and test reports
  • Review requirements and participate in peer reviews to ensure the quality of requirements for building test cases and scenarios. 
  • Collaborate with program managers, systems development, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to the client’s vision and that IV&V activities are integrated into the project lifecycle.
  • Serve as Data Migration subject matter expert to advise the system integration and client leadership teams of potential impacts and recommended solutions.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and reviews with various members of the client, development team, and corporate management. 
  • Manage relationships with the project’s development staff, sub-consultants, and the client’s management team. 
  • Collaborate closely with management and work groups to develop and maintain work plan documents, proactively identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Adhere to contract requirements and comply with all corporate policies and procedures.
