Job Description:

Summer IT Opportunity

We’re looking for a detail-driven and analytical Data Mapping & Process Analyst to support enterprise data initiatives and process optimization projects. In this hybrid role, you’ll gain experience bridging the gap between technical and operational teams by mapping data flows across systems and identifying opportunities to streamline processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
 

The position will be hybrid with in-office attendance Tuesday through Thursday with remote work opportunities on Monday and Friday.

Full-time: June – August

$20/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document source and target data structures for integrations and migrations

  • Contribute to comprehensive data mapping documents with transformation logic and business rules

  • Collaborate with data engineers and application teams to implement and validate data flows

  • Support testing, data validation, and issue resolution during ETL or migration projects

  • Contribute to accurate metadata and data lineage documentation

  • Map current business processes using Visio

  • Document SOPs, RACI matrices, and process improvements for operational transparency

  • Collaborate with other team members: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business users to ensure data integration projects are successful. 

  • Utilize relevant tools and technologies: Become familiar with resources like ETL tools, databases, and data visualization software. 

  • Contribute to additional initiatives as opportunities arise

Requirements:

  • Current College Student pursuing related major (Info Systems, Info Technology, Business Analytics, etc.)

  • 2026 or 2027 graduation date (preferred)

  • Experience with Visio and documenting process flows

  • Strong Excel or other data analytics skills

  • Preferred PowerPoint skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving aptitude

  • Willingness to learn and tackle logical challenges
