As we scale and expand into new markets, we are looking for a Data Product Manager who will own and develop data products, driving data strategy, governance, and insights that empower decision-making across the organization. They will work closely with engineering, data science, analytics, and product teams to build scalable data solutions that enhance business outcomes.

A DAY IN A LIFE
You can expect your days to be pretty varied at Teleport. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure data integrity, security, and scalability.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, analysts, and engineers, to translate data needs into actionable product features.
- Identify opportunities to leverage data for business growth, customer insights, and operational efficiencies.
- Work with UX/UI teams to ensure data products are user-friendly and drive adoption across teams.
- Ensure data products adhere to privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and internal governance policies.
- Define, track, and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs) for data-driven decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years in product management, data analytics, or data engineering roles.
- Understanding of SQL, data pipelines, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is a plus.
- Familiarity with data governance, machine learning concepts, and AI-driven insights.
- Agile/Scrum experience in managing data-driven projects.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in logistics, airlines, financial services, e-commerce, or SaaS industries.
- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Hadoop, BigData).
- Understanding of AI/ML-driven products and data ethics.
