Position Summary
The Data Manager will assist the School Leaders in the management of student data operations of the school site. This individual will ensure that student data and information is accurate and up-to-date at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Uses student information system to manage student data;
- Ensures all required data is collected from faculty and students each semester; enters all final grades for students as reported by the teaching staff;
- Generates student data reports for instructional support and district and state reports;
- Assists in enrollment and orientation of new students;
- Obtains, organizes, and distributes student records using the assigned student information system;
- Assists in the year-end closeout process for all student records;
- Identifies and adheres to compliance requirements for systems containing student data;
- Performs other related duties as required.
Educational Background
- At least an Associate's degree or equivalent required;
- Relevant work experience required
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience as a manager or administrator working in data processing with school or small business
- Familiarity with student information systems and data reporting tools;
- Knowledge of state and federal education regulations related to data reporting;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry;
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills;
- Ability to meet deadlines;
- Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, and staff.

Performance Evaluation
The employee will be evaluated based on the above position using either two methods: via COMPASS/LEADS or a NOLA-PS evaluating instrument. If the employee holds an Educational Leadership certification, he/she will be evaluated via COMPASS/LEADS to ensure renewal of certification.
