The Role:
Ready to shape the future of data at Prezzee? As a Data Management Specialist, you’ll play a key role in building the foundations that ensure our data is consistent, trusted, and clearly defined across the business. From aligning data definitions and metrics to implementing governance and change management processes, you’ll help create the frameworks that support accurate reporting and meaningful analysis. Your work will empower teams with reliable data and scalable structures, enabling smarter decisions in a fast-moving environment. What You'll Be Doing: 

• Establish and implement a data governance framework that enables clear ownership, accountability, and stewardship of data assets.
• Implement a pragmatic change management process for how data definitions evolve across the business, ensuring impacts are understood and communicated.
• Align and document definitions of data points and key metrics to enable a shared understanding of what metrics mean, how they’re calculated, and how they’re used.
• Ensure reporting aligns with governed definitions to remove ambiguity in dashboards and business analysis.
• Champion cross-functional alignment on metrics and definitions across Product, Strategy, Marketing, Customer Care, Finance, and beyond.
• Lead the development and maintenance of data dictionaries, glossaries, and business definitions.
• Serve as the point of contact for metric alignment and governance discussions across departments.
• Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and clarity in data usage across the business.

What We’re Looking For:

Core Skills:

• Proven experience in data governance, data management or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
  Comfortable working cross-functionally to define, document, and maintain consistent business metrics.
• Excellent communicator who can make technical data concepts clear to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in SQL and familiar with dbt, Talend Stitch, AWS Redshift and Databricks.
• Experience with BI tools and understanding of business processes.
• Confident in navigating change and ambiguity in a scale-up environment.
