Analytica is seeking a Data Management Consultant to support the DHS CBP CDO. The Data Management Consultant works in the support team for the CDO in providing data management support and project management support, including supporting the development of a scalable, organization-wide approach to data governance, enterprise content management, and stakeholder engagement across the agency’s data ecosystem. This position requires expertise in executing data management initiatives and providing technical support for metadata tools, data quality reporting, and standards documentation.
This is a hybrid position with a 1-2 day weekly onsite requirement at the CBP facilities in Ashburn, VA or Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Execute data management initiatives under the Data Management Lead’s direction
- Develop and maintain data quality reports
- Support metadata tool configuration and maintenance
- Create data standards documentation
- Assist with cloud data migrations
- Support data governance policy implementation
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to government staff
- Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- 3+ years’ experience in data management and analytics
- Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices
- Experience with metadata management tools and data catalogs
- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems, including Oracle 12c or higher
- Understanding of ETL processes and data integration, including experience with Informatica
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI
- Experience with Databricks
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with clients, technical SME's, and other project team members to establish, monitor and perform against requirements and deliverables
- Proven communication abilities with strong technical writing and presentation skills.
- Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain Public Trust
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure)
